DISC HERNIATION
Spinal discs are the shock-absorbing rings of fibrocartilage and glycoprotein that separate your bony vertebral bodies while allowing movement at each spinal level and providing enough room for the major spinal nerves to exit from the spinal canal and travel to your limbs.
A disc herniation can potentially press against or irritate the nerve where it exits from the spine. In some cases, the spinal disc may also become dislocated, further exacerbating the issue.
Signs and Symptoms of Disc Herniation and Dislocated Spinal Disc:
-
Back pain
-
Back spasms and cramping
-
Referred pain in the leg
-
Numbness in the lower limb
-
Pins and needles sensation in the lower limb
Treatment Methods:

-
Interferential Therapy (IFT)

Differences in hip height
-
Sticking out shoulder blade
-
Ribs sticking out on one side

LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS
Many people will experience stiffness or localised pain in the affected area. Difficulty bending and/or rotating the back may also be common. Specific movements, such as physical activity or prolonged periods in one position, can worsen the pain. Symptoms tend to be more pronounced in the morning and towards the end of the day.
Degenerative changes associated with lumbar spondylosis can put pressure on the lumbar nerve root, leading to nerve compression and resulting in pain, numbness, pins and needles, or weakness in the legs.
In severe cases, spondylosis may lead to spinal stenosis, causing pressure on the spinal cord. This can result in global weakness, gait dysfunction, loss of balance, sensory changes in the hands and feet, and loss of bowel and/or bladder control.
